Our Staff
P. Jesse Rine
Executive Director
P. Jesse Rine is Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Academic Faithfulness & Flourishing. An award-winning professor and nationally recognized expert on Christian higher education, Dr. Rine has served in faculty and administrative roles on three faith-based campuses: Grove City College, Duquesne University, and North Greenville University. He previously directed the research programs of two national higher education associations in Washington, DC, the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) and the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC). Dr. Rine’s scholarship has been published in numerous edited volumes and academic journals, and he currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Christian Higher Education: An International Journal of Research, Theory, and Practice. He holds a B.A. in Christian Thought from Grove City College, an M.A.T. in Latin from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Virginia.
Paul R. Brinkman
Director of Research Operations
Paul R. Brinkman is Director of Research Operations for the Center for Academic Faithfulness & Flourishing. He has served in various administrative roles in support of higher education, including database administration at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute as well as enrollment management and information technology at two faith-based postsecondary institutions, Grove City College and the Reformed Episcopal Seminary. Additionally, Mr. Brinkman has taught middle school science and assisted with the choral program at a parochial school in the classical tradition. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Grove City College.
